While searching for a way to find an alternative to a TR-909, I had the idea to extend my 3HE Eurorack modular system with 909 parts.
This guy has recreated all single instruments of a TR-909 and 808 as single modules for a modular system. You can find his modules and the documentations on his website. And also pictures of the PCBs and how to build it:

For the last few months I was also looking for modules to extend my modular system and found 5HE Modules at curetronic, oakley and also at Musiksynthesizer
